Sponsor a Friend to Tres Dias

The only way a person may become a candidate is to be sponsored by a Pescador. Because sponsorship is a serious responsibility, the sponsor should seek God's will and guidance through prayer as to whom to sponsor and be sensitive in approaching a potential candidate. As required for potential candidates, sponsors should be living a lifestyle becoming to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tres Dias endeavors to bring Christians to a closer relationship with their Lord Jesus Christ and encourage them to Christian leadership and Apostolic Action in their environments.

As a sponsor, you commit to walking with your candidate:

• Before the weekend — pray about whom to sponsor, talk with your candidate about what Tres Dias is, help them complete and submit their application, and make any practical arrangements they need to be away for three days.
• During the weekend — support your candidate and their family in practical ways, and pray for them throughout the three days.
• After the weekend — this is the most important part. Help your candidate connect with a reunion group and stay engaged with the community so the weekend becomes a beginning, not an ending.

Spirit of Grace Tres Dias Texas recommends that sponsors take the SGTD Sponsorship Course before sponsoring a candidate. Allow 30–40 minutes to complete the whole course.
